Message from the Chief & About CPD
I am proud to command a law enforcement agency comprised of the finest men and women. Police Officers and support staff committed to the safety of our residents, visitors, and businesses. Our job is to protect the citizens of Clermont and we intend to accomplish that mission, even at risk to our own lives. We ask for your assistance by dialing 911 to report crimes, when someone needs help and when you see something suspicious. You can always call the Clermont Police Department at 352-394-5588 for non-emergencies.
"If you see something say something."
The men and women at the Clermont Police Department are some of the most dedicated and loyal public servants in this great nation, and we promise to serve you with Integrity, Honor, Courage, Professionalism and Service Above Self.
I hope this website serves our community as an extension of the exceptional services that we provide. It is my desire that you find helpful information, programs and community events as we continue to build alliances. I look forward to serving this great community and the Clermont Police Department.
